The Gallery
I am using the gallery to document a few memorable moments during my musical career.
Divertimento
The Divertimento generally refers to a genre of music from the 18th century, characterized by its light and cheerful sound. This piece was performed by me in 2015 (and recorded for the Select Students Piano Competition by Taped Audio.) This piece was especially entertaining due to its speed and soulful melody.
Allegro
An Allegro is a type of classical music that is meant to be played in a quick and lively way. This piece was performed by me in 2016 (and recorded for the Select Students Piano Competition by Taped Audio.) This piece posed an unique and enjoyable challenge in terms of fingering and rhythm.
In A Mellow Tone

This piece — In a Mellow Tone — is a concert band arrangement in the jazz genre, originally written by Duke Ellington. I performed this piece in 2021 alongside the Honors Wind Ensemble at my high school. I have a trombone solo featured towards the middle of the piece. I was fortunate to have Mr. Noble as my band conductor and music teacher for the last four years.

On April 19th, 2022, I alongside the rest of the Scarsdale High School Band performed at Carnegie Hall as part of the 2022 New York International Music Festival. We were conducted by Dr. Jason Noble, as well as guest conductors Travis Cross (Chair, Herb Alpert School of Music – UCLA) and Kevin Day (University of Miami). Coming out of the Covid-19 pandemic, our program marked our school’s triumphant return to the stage. Kevin Day’s River Memoria was commissioned for our band in honor of Dr. Noble’s upcoming retirement.
